Shipping Policy

At The Rover Spot, we take pride in providing fast, secure, and reliable shipping for our remanufactured engines, transmissions, and genuine OEM Land Rover & Jaguar parts throughout the United States.

Processing Times

• In-stock parts typically ship within 1–2 business days.

• Remanufactured engines and transmissions generally ship within 2–5 business days, depending on inventory availability and final quality control.

• Custom-built or special-order items may require additional processing time. If applicable, we will notify you of the estimated completion date.

Freight Shipping

Complete engines, transmissions, and other oversized items are shipped via commercial freight carriers.

All freight shipments include:

• Professionally packaged and secured shipping crates

• Liftgate service available upon request (additional charges may apply)

• Tracking information provided once shipped

• Signature required upon delivery

Please ensure someone is available to inspect and sign for the shipment upon arrival.

Small Package Shipping

Smaller parts are shipped using carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS, depending on the size, weight, and destination.

Tracking information will be emailed once your order has shipped.

Shipping Damage

Although every shipment is carefully packaged, damage can occasionally occur during transit.

If your shipment arrives damaged:

1. Inspect the shipment before signing.

2. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt.

3. Take clear photographs of the packaging and damaged item.

4. Contact The Rover Spot within 24 hours of delivery.

Failure to report shipping damage promptly may affect the ability to process a freight claim.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address.

Additional shipping charges incurred due to incorrect or incomplete addresses are the responsibility of the customer.

Shipping Delays

While we work hard to meet estimated delivery dates, delays caused by weather, freight carriers, holidays, customs, or other circumstances beyond our control are not the responsibility of The Rover Spot.

Core Returns (Remanufactured Engines & Transmissions)

Our remanufactured engines and transmissions are sold without requiring an upfront core charge.

After installation:

• Your original core must be returned within the timeframe provided by our sales team.

• The returned core must be complete and rebuildable.

• We provide instructions for returning your core.

• In many cases, we can assist with arranging return freight.

Cores that are severely damaged, missing major components, or otherwise unsuitable for rebuilding may not qualify.

Return Policy

We stand behind the quality of every product we sell.

Eligible Returns

Unused parts may be returned within 30 days of delivery if they meet all of the following conditions:

• Item is in original condition.

• Item has not been installed.

• Original packaging is included.

• No damage or modifications are present.

• The return has been authorized by The Rover Spot.

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be obtained before returning any item.

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

• Installed parts

• Electrical or electronic components

• Special-order items

• Custom-built products

• VIN-programmed components

• Fluids, chemicals, or consumable items

• Products damaged through misuse, improper installation, or accident

Remanufactured Engines & Transmissions

Because every engine and transmission is professionally built, tested, and VIN verified before shipment, these products are generally non-returnable once shipped, except in cases involving:

• Shipping damage

• Incorrect item supplied

• Approved warranty claim

Please verify compatibility with your VIN before ordering.

Warranty Claims

If you believe your product has a warranty issue:

1. Contact The Rover Spot immediately.

2. Provide your order number.

3. Provide your vehicle VIN.

4. Provide diagnostic information and fault codes, if applicable.

5. Our technical team will assist with troubleshooting before authorizing any repairs or replacements.

Unauthorized repairs may affect warranty coverage.

Restocking Fee

Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%, depending on the product and its condition.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

The customer is responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error.

Order Cancellations

Orders canceled before shipment may be eligible for a refund.

Custom-built engines, transmissions, and special-order parts may incur cancellation charges if work has already begun.

Vehicle Compatibility

The Rover Spot verifies major drivetrain components using your VIN whenever possible.

Customers are encouraged to provide their VIN before ordering to ensure proper fitment.

Although we make every effort to confirm compatibility, customers are responsible for verifying that all vehicle modifications and existing components are compatible with the purchased item.
